Course Overview
This five-day certification course takes participants through the phases of a project using the PMI process. You complete the 3-day CAPM training course followed by an additional 2 day course to qualify you to sit the Project Management PMP Training Course examination. This course will provide you with practice questions for the PMP exam.
The successful completion of the PMP examination will show employers that you are an internationally recognised Project Manager.

Who is the course for?
Our project management training courses are for anyone who has a working knowledge project management and who currently works in a project management environment and who wishes to acquire a professional project management qualification.

The PMP examination requires a particular approach and this session covers the key aspects - Context and Framework of Project Management
A foundation session which enables you to understand PMI’s approach to project management - Professional Responsibility
Codes of Ethicsand Conduct which are included in the exam - Project Integration
Considers the interaction of various processes and the need to prioritise and consolidate them for optimal satisfaction of stakeholder needs - Investment Appraisal
Projects should only begin when a sound business case exists - Initiation and the Project Charter
The initiation process through to the production of the Project Charter which marks the formal authorisation of a project - Core Planning Processes
This session covers the fundamental building blocks of the Project Managemnt Plan – Scope Planning including WBS and Scheduling and Budgeting - Project Facilitating Planning
Ensuring that the critical success factors will be in place and includes Management of Risk, Quality, Procurement, Communications and Organisation Planning - Project Plan Development
- Project Plan Execution
Planning activities considered so far and considers the processes used to complete the work specified in the Project Plan - Team Development
- Performance Reporting and Earned Value
- Overall Change Control
- Scope Verification
Agreement must be reached on the deliverables in teh context of the acceptance criteria agreed at the beginning of the project. This session looks at methods of ensuring compliance - Closing
